Billiarts owner David C. D’Amato was ordered by a Pennsylvania judge Friday to dismiss the company’s inflatable basketballs after an unfortunate accident on a golf course.
Dallimore County Judge Michael K. Mielke ordered Dallies billiarts company, Dallisbilliarts Inc., to pay $50,000 in fines, including $50 for each inflatable ball that was destroyed, as well as $10,000 for damages to the golf course, according to court records.
Dannon, the company that makes the balls, also must pay $5,000.
Dailies owner David D. Dantonio and Dannon have pleaded not guilty to charges of causing the accident.
Calls to the Dallias company and the company of a third company that manufactures the balls were not immediately returned Friday.
